 Although the fireplace is primarily constructed of man-made "rocks", there are a few interesting pieces of a light-gray, thinly bedded sandstone used as caprocks and the mantles. |
| There is even a very slight indication of cross-bedding at the very top of the mantle as seen to the right. |
